Ghana's National Security Ministry denies Involvement in Emirates Airport Manager's abduction

Ghana's National Security Ministry has denied allegations of involvement in the abduction of Sylvia Baah, Emirates Airlines' Airport Services Manager at Kotoka International Airport.

A statement released by the Ministry on Monday, November 25, expressed concern over the publication by the Herald Newspaper, which alleged that Ministry officers and the National Intelligence Bureau were involved in Baah's abduction.

The Ministry has launched an investigation into the incident and assured the public that anyone found responsible will face the full consequences of the law.

In a separate development, the Ghana Police Service began investigating the alleged kidnapping on Friday, November 22. Baah was reportedly taken from her residence in Accra on Thursday, November 21, but was rescued and reunited with her family two days later.

The authorities have assured the public that they are committed to justice and are actively searching for the suspects behind the crime.
