Accra, Ghana –  August, 2025 – The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts ,Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has officially inaugurated the new Governing Board of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA). The board comprises professionals from diverse backgrounds who are tasked with driving innovation, strengthening stakeholder collaboration, and positioning Ghana as a leading tourism destination.

In her address,Abla Gomashie emphasized the strategic importance of the board in shaping policy direction, fostering innovation, and supporting the sustainable growth of the tourism industry. She urged the board members to demonstrate unwavering commitment to developing and promoting Ghana's tourism, culture, and creative arts sectors.

Suweibatu Adam, speaking on behalf of the board members, expressed gratitude to the Minister for the confidence placed in them and reaffirmed their collective resolve to contribute meaningfully to advancing Ghana's tourism and creative industries. The board's primary goal is to drive tourism growth, create jobs, and increase revenue for the country.
