Ghana Gas Achieves ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Global Certifications in Sustainability, Workplace Safety

Accra, Ghana - 05 March, 2025 - Ghana Gas has achieved a major milestone in its commitment to environmental sustainability and workplace safety, earning ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications for its Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
These certifications, awarded after a rigorous auditing process demonstrate Ghana Gas's adherence to global best practices in minimizing its environmental impact and ensuring a safe working environment.
Ing. Dr. Robert Lartey, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Gas, attributed the company's certification success to a collaborative effort by management, employees, and the Health, Safety, and Environment Operations Department.
The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition has endorsed also Ghana Gas's leadership in sustainability and safety, and with these certifications, the company has cemented its reputation as a champion of industry best practices, driving sustainable operations and a safer work environment.
With these certifications, Ghana Gas has cemented its position as a leader in industry best practices, and is now poised to embark on its next major initiative – achieving ISO 9001 certification – as part of its ongoing commitment to operational excellence.
