Ghana and Liberia Strengthen Ties as Ambassador-Designate Presents Letters

Accra, Ghana - 27 Feb, 2025 - The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa (MP), has welcomed the Ambassador-Designate of Liberia to Ghana, H.E. Musu Jatu Ruhle, as she presented her open letters.
The meeting, held on February 26, 2025, marked a significant step in strengthening the bilateral ties between Ghana and Liberia.
Hon. Ablakwa congratulated Ambassador-Designate Ruhle on her appointment, highlighting the confidence the Liberian Government has in her ability to foster cooperation between the two nations. The Minister also acknowledged the historic bonds between Ghana and Liberia, emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration.
Ambassador-Designate Ruhle expressed her appreciation for the warm reception and reiterated her commitment to deepening the relationship between Ghana and Liberia. She also thanked the Ghanaian Government for its efforts in addressing the issues surrounding the Buduburam Camp and resettlement programme.
The presentation of credentials marks the beginning of Ambassador-Designate Ruhle's tenure in Ghana, and is expected to pave the way for increased cooperation between the two West African nations.
