GFA puts stakeholder retreat on hold, new date to be announced
A key gathering aimed at shaping the future of Ghana's national football teams has been put on hold. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that its highly anticipated football retreat, initially scheduled for November 28, 2024, will now take place at a later date.
According to the GFA,the decision to postpone the event follows a series of consultations with stakeholders, with the GFA seeking to ensure a more comprehensive and inclusive discussion on the future of Ghanaian football.
A new date for the retreat is expected to be announced in the coming days, with the GFA committed to keeping stakeholders informed.
In a statement released on Nov 25, the GFA has expressed its appreciation for the understanding and cooperation of its members, partners, and stakeholders, and has assured that a new date will be communicated in due course.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) wishes to inform its members, partners, and all stakeholders, including the general public, that the Ghana Football Retreat, initially scheduled for November 28th, 2024, has been rescheduled.
Following consultations with key partners and stakeholders, it became imperative to reschedule the Ghana Football Retreat to a later date to ensure the full and meaningful participation of all in this important engagement on the national teams.
A new date for the Retreat will be announced in due course.
We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of all our members, partners, and stakeholders.
