'We Made Promises and We Have Kept Them' - Mahama Declares Success in First 120 Days

Jubilee House/Accra - 07 May, 2025 - President John Dramani Mahama has declared that his administration successfully fulfilled its promises within the first 120 days in office.

In a national address on May 7, Mahama highlighted key accomplishments, including the introduction of a Code of Conduct for political appointees, the cancellation of the contentious betting tax, and the abolition of the Electronic Transfer Levy (E-levy).

Additionally, Mahama highlighted the government's push to create a more lean and effeicient administration.

He stated that the government's actions were guided by a commitment to transparency and a focus on laying the foundation for a just, prosperous, and united Ghana.

“We made promises and we have kept them, our first 120 days have been defined by decisive action, commitment to transparency and relentless focus on laying the foundation for building the Ghana we want, a just, prosperous and united Ghana,” he said.
