Bawumia Takes 'Thank You Tour' to Eastern Region

Koforidua, Eastern Region - 24 May, 2025 - The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has resumed its national "Thank You Tour," led by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party's 2024 presidential candidate and former Vice President.

After a brief hiatus to accommodate international commitments, including the 2025 International Democratic Union Conference in Belgium, the tour is set to continue in the Eastern Region.

Starting on Saturday, May 24, 2025, Dr. Bawumia and the NPP leadership will engage with party stakeholders in Nkawkaw, Bunsu, and Koforidua, wrapping up the regional leg in Asamankese on Sunday.

The tour will then proceed to the Greater Accra Region on May 27-28, with a series of planned engagements.

Through this tour, Dr. Bawumia aims to express the party's gratitude to its loyal supporters and Ghanaians at large, acknowledging their unwavering support despite the outcome of the 2024 elections.

This initiative underscores the NPP's commitment to its grassroots and its dedication to building a strong, inclusive party structure.
