Bawumia has solutions to our problems - Samira Bawumia

Accra, Ghana - Nov 19, 2024 - Samira Bawumia, Ghana's Second Lady, is rallying support for her husband, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party's flagbearer, in the upcoming general elections.

She believes his exceptional leadership qualities, including integrity, intelligence, and a problem-solving approach, make him the ideal candidate to tackle Ghana's current challenges and fulfill the youth's aspirations.

At a book launch event organized by her "Samira Bawumia Literacy Prize" initiative in Accra, Samira expressed confidence in Dr. Bawumia's ability to drive meaningful change. She highlighted his innovative ideas, sense of responsibility, and commitment to improving lives as key strengths.

Samira emphasized that her husband's vision focuses on:

- Creating opportunities for the youth
- Developing sustainable solutions to national problems

She praised Dr. Bawumia's track record in leadership, citing his intelligence, honesty, and hard work as assets that set him apart.

“He has solutions to our problems. Dr Bawumia is a very intelligent man. He is an honest man. He works very hard and applies himself, and this is a man bursting with ideas and doesn’t always do the same things and expects different results.”

“Bawumia is always thinking outside the box, and I think that is the kind of leadership we need as young people. We need somebody who will leapfrog Ghana’s development. We need somebody who can look beyond where we are at and say, ‘Look, we can do better and we can do it in a faster way to get to where we are going',” she stated.
