Azumah Resources Disassociates Itself from Sale of Black Volta Gold Project to E&P

Accra, Ghana - 7 July, 2025 - Azumah Resources Ghana Limited has denied reports of selling the Black Volta Gold Project to Engineers & Planners Company Limited (E&P) or any other party.

In a statement, the company described a widely circulated invitation to a "Facility Agreement Signing Ceremony" as false and unauthorized.

The invitation, which claimed that E&P had acquired the project, was scheduled to take place at the Marriott Hotel in Accra on July 7, 2025. Azumah Resources clarified that it has neither sold nor is in the process of selling the Black Volta Gold Project, and no discussions have taken place with E&P or its affiliates.

The company emphasized that the Black Volta Gold Project remains 100% owned by Azumah Resources and that it has begun preparatory works and is progressing toward full-scale construction following successful shareholder-backed financing. Azumah Resources has asked the general public to disregard the invitation and any related documents, stressing that they do not represent the position or intentions of the company.

The company reiterated its commitment to developing the Black Volta Gold Project in line with the highest standards of transparency, professionalism, and national development objectives. Azumah Resources remains focused on delivering the project, and its denial of the reports aims to clarify any confusion and reassure stakeholders of its intentions.
