Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang tours Mallam market
Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, the running mate for the National Democratic Congress' (NDC) in the December 7 general elections has embarked on a tour of marketplaces in Accra as part of her campaign.
Her first destination was the Mallam Atta Market in Ayawaso Central Constituency, where she spoke with traders, commercial drivers, and head porters (Kayayei).
During these meetings, she highlighted the NDC's women-centered initiatives, including the proposed Women's Development Bank.
Accoring to her, the Women's Bank intends to meet the financial needs of women in business, recognizing their substantial contribution to the economy.
The initiative, which is part of the NDC's broader policy to encourage female entrepreneurs and business owners, seeks to increase economic prospects and financial stability for women throughout the country.
