NAPO's wife seeks blessings from maternal family home
Accra, Ghana - In a heartwarming display of tradition and politics, Alma Naa Jama Pokua Adade-Prempeh, wife of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, sought the blessings of her maternal family elders yesterday in the Odododiodioo constituency.
The ceremony, attended by top New Patriotic Party (NPP) officials, including Greater Accra Regional Minister Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, marked the beginning of Mrs. Adade-Prempeh's campaign trail in the Greater Accra Region.
Nii Agyiri Banor, head of Mrs. Adade-Prempeh's maternal family, invoked the ancestors' blessings, saying, "We call on the ancestors to guide and protect Mrs. Adade-Prempeh as she embarks on this crucial campaign."
Banor emphasized unity, urging all family members to rally behind Mrs. Opoku Prempeh and offer their unwavering support for victory and honor.
Mrs. Adade-Prempeh's visit is seen as a strategic move to leverage her roots in Ga-Adangbe to garner support for the NPP's Bawumia-Napo ticket ahead of the December 7 elections.
With her maternal family's blessings, Mrs. Adade-Prempeh is set to embark on a campaign trail that will take her to various constituencies in the Greater Accra Region.
