Learn from history, vote wisely - NPP's Aksoua Manu urges Ghanaians

Accra, Ghana - Akosua Kozie Manu, the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Adentan, has cautioned Ghanaians against making the same mistake they did in 2008.

Speaking at a recent campaign event, Manu urged voters not to repeat the error of electing the National Democratic Congress (NDC) into power, which she claims led to the reversal of significant gains made by the NPP between 2000 and 2008.

Manu emphasized that the NPP's achievements during their previous tenure were systematically undone by the NDC, setting the country back.

She implored Ghanaians to learn from history and make informed decisions at the polls to ensure continued progress and development.

“I plead, please let’s not repeat what happened in 2008 again. NPP must continue. When we say breaking the eight, NPP comes in, builds the foundation, builds the first floor, then Ghanaians make a mistake and go for the opposition, then they destroy the first floor and the foundation.

“2024 we won’t repeat that mistake again. We are moving forward with Dr. Bawumia,” She said while addressing party faithfuls during Dr Bawumia’s visit on Friday.

Manu also fired a salvo at the incumbent NDC MP, Adamu Ramadan, alleging that he has been dishonestly taking credit for projects she has initiated in the constituency.

She claims that Ramadan has been presenting her achievements as his own, a move she sees as a desperate attempt to cling to power.

“…When I do something then he claims responsibility, disregard him, he knows nothing about it,” she stated.
