Bellingham and Kane earn comeback victory for England.
England won a place in the quarter-finals of UEFA EURO 2024 with a dramatic win over Slovakia, who appeared to be on course for victory until Jude Bellingham levelled deep into added time with a magnificent overhead kick before Harry Kane headed an extra-time winner in Gelsenkirchen.
England were seconds away from an embarrassing exit as Slovakia defended a lead they had held since the 25th minute when Ivan Schranz raced into the box to poke a low finish past England keeper Jordan Pickford.
Bellingham saved England from a performance so bad that his goal was their first shot on goal - but he also laid the groundwork for a triumph as Slovakia, who had defended so resolutely, were left startled.
And captain Harry Kane emphasized England's unexpected advantage a minute into the extra 30 minutes, heading home from close range to complete a spectacular comeback and set up a quarter-final clash with Switzerland.
