President Mahama to Speak at Ahmadiyya Convention

Accra, Ghana - 09 Jan, 2025 - President John Dramani Mahama is set to address the 92nd Annual Jalsa Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Pomadze, Central Region, today, Jan 9, 2025, marking his first public engagement since being sworn into office on January 7, 2025.

The convention, themed "Justice and Peace: The Essential Ingredients for National Development," aims to emphasize the crucial role of fairness and harmony in advancing Ghana's progress and unity. President Mahama's address will focus on interfaith collaboration, justice, and peace as essential components of sustainable national development .

The three-day event, chaired by Alhaj Maulana Noor Mohammed Bin Salih, Ameer and Missionary in Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, will bring together thousands of Ahmadi Muslims and dignitaries from Ghana and beyond. This underscores the Mission's commitment to fostering spiritual and social cohesion.
