NAPO's spokesperson denies ethnic slur allegations
Accra, Ghana - October 29, 2024 - Fiifi Boafo, spokesperson for New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice Presidential Candidate Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO), has categorically denied allegations that NAPO made derogatory remarks about the Ewe and Ga ethnic groups.
A viral report falsely claimed NAPO stated, "Gas and Ewes are the problems of Ghana" and suggested these groups shouldn't be part of Ghana's history.
In a facebook post, Boafo refuted the allegations, describing them as baseless and urging the public to verify information before sharing it on social medi.
He emphasized the importance of relying on credible sources to avoid spreading false narratives.
