Galatasaray keeper scores penalty to seal title

Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera scored a late penalty as his side beat Kayserispor 3-0 to win their 25th Turkish league title.
The Uruguayan, who is expected to end his 14-year stay at the club when his contract expires this summer, squeezed his spot-kick past Bilal Bayazit in the 89th minute.
Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen opened the scoring midway through the first half as Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce were consigned to second place for the fourth straight season.
Galatasaray, who are Turkey's most successful club, have an eight-point lead over their Istanbul rivals with two games remaining.
The club will now be able to add a fifth star to their team shirts, with one star allotted for every five titles won.
Following Napoli loanee Osimhen's 25th league goal of the season, Turkey midfielder Baris Yilmaz quickly added a second before the Uruguay goalkeeper's 89th-minute spot-kick.
Muslera, who was making his 550th appearance for Galatasaray, appeared to sheepishly apologise to Bayazit, who guessed the correct way but could not keep out his opposite number's effort.
Muslera's team-mates celebrated wildly with him and the victory means Galatasaray - whose only league defeat was against Besiktas in March - qualify for next season's Champions League league phase.
