Lomé, Togo - Niger's Dama Gazelle devoured Sudan 4-0 in Thursday's Group F clash of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers, revitalizing Ghana's qualification chances.
The onslaught began with Daniel Sosah's sixth-minute goal, followed by Youssouf Oumarou's strike in the 29th minute. Sosah converted a penalty in added time, securing a 3-0 halftime lead. Ousseini Badamassi sealed the rout with a 51st-minute goal.
This convincing victory has significant implications for Group F. Ghana's Black Stars must now win their remaining matches to advance.
Their qualification journey continues Friday November 15, against Angola in Luanda, followed by a pivotal matchup against Niger.
