Ablakwa's ORAL Team Uncovers Massive Looting, Promises Explosive Report
Accra, Ghana - 10 Jan, 2025 - Ghana's Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team has a major breakthrough in its investigation into looted state assets according to its Chairman, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.
The team, which includes notable members like Nathan Kofi Boakye, Martin Kpebu, Raymond Archer, and Daniel Domelevo, was appointed by President John Dramani Mahama to gather substantial evidence of wrongdoing and investigate state capture and asset misappropriation by appointees of the previous administration.
The evidence, which will be presented to President John Dramani Mahama, is expected to shed light on the extent of the looting and identify those responsible.
Speaking to journalists in the Eastern Region Ablakwa, Ablakwa expressed confidence in the team's progress, describing their work as successful and affirming their commitment to holding those responsible accountable.
“We will not disclose the nature of our achievements until we have presented our report to His Excellency the President. When we present our report, at that presentation, the Ghanaian people will see the tremendous work that has gone on and the extent of the loot and how all of us collectively have worked successfully to make sure that the evidence is put together, is coordinated to make sure that our attorney general and our institutions help us to recover these loots,'' he stated.
