Oguaamanhene hosts Asantehene at Oguaa Fetu Afahye

Cape Coast, Ghana - As part of the ongoing Oguaa Fetu Afahye celebrations, Osaberema Dr. Kwasi Atta II, the Oguaamanhene, hosted a special dinner reception in honour of His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, at Lush on the Coast.

The event, which took place on September 5, 2024, was a grand affair, with the two prominent traditional leaders sharing a moment of warmth and camaraderie. The dinner reception was a testament to the strong bond between the Oguaa and Asante kingdoms.

The Oguaa Fetu Afahye, an annual festival celebrated by the people of Cape Coast, is a time for merriment, cultural display, and strengthening of ties among traditional leaders. This year's celebration has seen a series of events, with the dinner reception being one of the highlights.

Manhyia Palace officials were present at the event, which was also captured in a series of photographs. The reception has been hailed as a success, further solidifying the relationship between the two kingdoms.
