India reaches T20 World cup final after shocking win over England.

England's T20 World Cup defence is over after a 68-run thumping by a brilliant India in the semi-finals in Guyana.

England's batters collapsed and were bowled for 103 in 16.4 overs after being set 172 on a challenging pitch to advance to the final on Saturday. Captain Jos Buttler gave them a great start with 23; however, his wicket was the first of four for 20 runs.

England's defence of the championship they won in Melbourne in 2022 began with a struggle, picked up steam in the middle, and ended with a humiliating defeat. They were outperformed by India, who adjusted to the difficult circumstances better, managing their batting innings precisely and then being brutal with the ball.

India, who have not won a World Cup in 13 years, will face first-time finalists South Africa in Barbados, in a clash of the tournament's two unbeaten teams. England will go home on Friday and will then face the West Indies in a three-match Test series beginning on July 10.
