I am doing my best to be consistent and stay fit – Thomas Partey
Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey.

Ghana international Thomas Partey believes he is doing everything he can to become a consistent player for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal ahead of the 2024/25 season.

The midfielder missed 29 games for the team last season, as they failed to win the Premier League yet again.

Prior to it, the 31-year-old had missed key periods of the 2022/23 season, which many believe contributed to Arsenal's league loss to Manchester City.

His injury worries have worried both the manager and the supporters over the last two seasons, but the Ghanaian is determined to keep fighting for the Gunners.

"I am doing my best to be more consistent and stay fit. It is an everyday job. I cannot give up and need to keep going," he told Hayters TV.

"It's life! Things happen and sometimes they are things you cannot control. I have to keep going and keep fighting.

"Every time I fall, I have to get up and fight back. That is the mentality I have. I also think that any time I can help the team that is what I have to do."

Partey has one year left on his contract with the Emirates, which expires at the end of the 2024/25 season.
