Hearts of Oak unveils new Commercial Complex
Ghana Premier League club side, Accra Hearts of Oak has unveiled their new commercial centre after a two-year wait.
The club's former site was demolished in May 2022 to make room for a modern structure.
The three-story structure will function as a commercial center as management seeks to add value to their brand.
The project's manager, Lord Eshun believes the commercial hub would attract the same degree of interest as those owned by some of the continent's top clubs.
"You are a witness to the edifice, you have been through and you see with the facilities that it has. It's basically a semi-smart building. It has all the facilities that need a commercial building like this to work on," he said.
"I am sure it can be so much comparable to so many within West Africa and Africa" he added.
Meanwhile, Togbe Afede XIV, the Executive Board Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak, has emphasized that management is committed to ensuring the club's facilities reflect its standing as one of the continent's top clubs.
Hearts' management received keys to the freshly built commercial facility from the contractors on Tuesday, July 30, two years after the previous building was dismantled.
According to Togbe, the facilities will serve their intended aim of displaying the club's accomplishments while also having an impact on the community.
"As I have always said, we have a vision to build a club that assumes prominence in African football while serving the community, while impacting the community and while making a difference in the lives of our people," he said.
"We acknowledge that we cannot do that unless we invest in infrastructure and this is a demonstration to our commitment to building a solid infrastructure-based Accra Hearts of Oak."
The club's management also intends to add a museum in the newly constructed centre, which will showcase some of Hearts of Oak's accomplishments and history.
