Don't sell your vote - Kyerematen tells Ghanaians

Obogu, Asante Akim South, Ghana - Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, presidential candidate of the Movement for Change, has cautioned Ghanaians against accepting money or gifts from political parties in exchange for their votes in the upcoming December 7 elections.

Speaking in Obogu, Asante Akim South Constituency, Kyerematen described vote-buying as a sign of disrespect.

Kyerematen emphasized that politics should focus on meaningful change, not short-term incentives. He urged citizens to assess their community's development and vote against the ruling party if progress is lacking.

“They will come and share things for you to vote for them. They will come with money but think about it twice. If after all these years they didn’t come to you and now they are giving you money, it simply shows that they don’t respect you,” he said.

“We do politics for the development of the country. We have to change them if the country has not moved forward after they took power,” he added.
