Bawumia enstooled as 'Chief of the Internet' in Nsawam
The New Patriotic Party's (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has been appointed as Ntentankesehene, or "chief of the Internet" by Nana Awo Yaa Amankwah I, the queen mother of Nsawam.
According to Nana Awo Yaa Amankwah I, the enstoolment is an acknowledgment of Dr. Bawumia's contributions to the government's digitalization initiative.
Meanwhile, Nana Kwame Ansah I, the Chief of Nsawam in his speech labeled the visit historic.
“I thank God for bringing Bawumia to my palace today. It’s historic for the people of Nsawam, portraying his knowledge in tradition and customers. I’m very grateful. I believe his digitisation agenda shall come to pass, hence we install him as ‘Ntentankesehene.”
