NCA Welcomes Rev. Ing. Fianko as New Boss

Accra, Ghana  25 Jan, 2025 - Ghana's National Communications Authority (NCA) has welcomed a new Acting Director General, Rev. Ing. Edmund Yirenkyi Fianko.

In a historic move, Mr. Fianko becomes the first internal member to rise to the position of Director General, a testament to the NCA's commitment to capacity building.

With over 20 years of experience in electronic communications engineering, Mr. Fianko brings a wealth of expertise to the role. His background in radio frequency spectrum management, telecom and broadcasting regulation, and policy formulation makes him well-suited to lead the NCA's mandate.
