Accra, Ghana - 04 Feb, 2025 - Francis Kojo Kwarteng Arthur has taken the reins as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), outlining an ambitious plan to boost Ghana's export competitiveness.

At a handing-over ceremony on Tuesday, Mr. Kwarteng Arthur outlined his vision for enhancing Ghana's export competitiveness and aligning with President John Mahama's agenda for accelerated export-led growth.

He emphasized the need for staff collaboration in driving policies that will expand non-traditional exports and strengthen Ghana's position in global markets.

Mr. Arthu prasied the outgoing CEO Dr. Afua Asabea Asare for her team's notable contributions to the sector.

In her farewell remarks, Dr. Asare expressed appreciation to the GEPA team for their backing and urged them to maintain their dedication to the authority's long-term goals, as they transition under new leadership.
