Voters Register: EC urges NDC, stakeholders to bring evidence to IPAC Meeting
Accra, Ghana - The Electoral Commission of Ghana is calling on all stakeholders to bring evidence and data to support any concerns or discrepancies they have with the Provisional Voters Register (PVR) at the upcoming Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting on Tuesday.
This collaborative approach aims to address outstanding issues with the register. However, the Commission notes that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has yet to provide data on discrepancies cited in their request for a forensic audit of the PVR, despite repeated requests.
The EC expects the NDC and other stakeholders to present their findings at the meeting.
The Commission emphasizes that producing the Final Voters Register is a thorough process, not a singular event.
The EC reassures the public and stakeholders of its commitment to transparency, fairness, and collaboration with IPAC to address register-related concerns.
