  • Establishing a Public University in Honor of Paa Grant: A pilot project to establish a satellite campus of the University of Mines in Tarkwa (UMAT) in Mfantseman Nkusukum, named after the revered Paa Grant.
    - Lithium Mining and Tertiary Education: Exploiting the Ewoyaa Lithium Mining Project and securing a satellite campus of UMAT to provide long-term investment in tertiary mining education.

WEALTH OF EXPERIENCE

Nana Owuodzi Abban Kurentsir VIII's goal is to help young people establish themselves by building their economic capacities through mentoring and training. He is skilled in leading cross-functional teams, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion of projects.

He has assisted many international organizations in reaching their target clients efficiently within the ECOWAS Market.

He is also a Project Manager, Conference Speaker, and a recipient of the Sukuma Afrika and United Nations Millennium Campaign Young Entrepreneurs Award [UNMC YEC] 2008.

As a project manager, he drove the vision of the organization's major expansion program aimed at increasing the school chain from 32 schools into another chain of Higher Brand of Premium Economy Schools (PES).

He co-led the team that bid for OSFL's participation in the Liberian Government Education program funded by the US Government, which led to an allocation of 19 schools under the management of OSFL in Liberia.

Nana Owuodzi Abban Kurentsir VIII is the key driver of FOOD FACTORY GROUP, a diversified Food and Agribusiness Indigenous organization, and the National Public Relations Officer for the COCONUT FEDERATION OF GHANA.

He led the formation and launch of Africa's Young Social Entrepreneurs Network (AYSEN) in partnership with the Canadian High Commission in 2008 to mentor and train youth in entrepreneurship.

Nana Owuodzi Abban Kurentsir VIII was the host of a Radio Program captioned Financial Marketplace. 

Nana Owuodzi Abban Kurentsir VIII possesses exceptional leadership skills, adept at managing cross-functional teams, fostering effective stakeholder engagement, and ensuring timely project delivery.

In 2008, John attended the 18th World Economic Forum on Africa in Cape Town, South Africa, following his win in the inaugural UNMC MDG Entrepreneurship Challenge.

Additionally, he volunteered with the United Nations Millennium Campaign office in Ghana as a fundraiser for the UN Stand up Campaign against Poverty, coinciding with the International Day of Poverty Eradication in 2009. This showcases his commitment to global economic development and poverty reduction.

He has a BSc. in International Business Administration & Global Leadership (International Project Management) first Class Honors from KNUST, a Certificate of Applied Leadership from Accra Business School, and a Diploma in Business Management from Association of Business Executives (ABE-UK).

He is married to Esther Akosua Kyerewaa (2ND Runner Up Ghana's Most Beautiful 2016) and a father of lovely three girls.
