Agyapadie document is a diabolical scheme by Kyebi Mafia - Ohene Agyekum

Former Ghanaian ambassador to the United States of America, Daniel Ohene Agyekum has described the Agyapadie document as a clear example of state resource capture. 

He has implied that the document concentrates the nation's riches in the hands of a few.

Although President Nana Akufo-Addo has rejected the document's legitimacy, former President John Dramani Mahama believes the document's contents have been implemented.

At a news conference in Kumasi, Ohene Agyekum stated that the paper is legitimate and reflects a diabolical conspiracy by some individuals to seize Ghana's wealth.

"This document is authentic and it represents a very diabolical scheme by a small group of individuals from Kyebi. My understanding when people talk about the Akyem mafia is that it is wrong because I will argue that it is Kyebi mafia" he remarked. 

He added that the Agyapadie document sets a terrible precedent for Ghana's future.

He claims it is more than just an administrative guideline; it is a roadmap for the acquisition and monopolization of Ghana's riches by a select elite.
